Service Agreement

Thank you for choosing Purfect Paws Mobile Pet Grooming! We do everything in our power to ensure that your pets are safe, clean, and happy! Although we take every precaution to avoid it, please be aware that working with excitable pets and sharp objects can possibly result in injury. Please carefully read the following policies below before allowing us to groom your pet.

Appointment Times
Appointment times are approximate. Your scheduled time falls within an arrival window. We are a mobile business working with animals, so our schedule is subject to interruptions/delays on a regular basis. Although you will book a specific appointment time, we ask that you are available 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes after your appointment time. We will make every attempt to arrive on time, but you will receive a courtesy call/text if unforeseen circumstances result in an ETA outside of your window.

Appointment Confirmations
To ensure a smooth and organized scheduling process, we will send a request for appointment confirmation 48 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment. We kindly request your prompt response to this confirmation request. Please be aware that if we do not receive confirmation
from you by 24 hours prior to your appointment and we are unable to reach you for confirmation, we may need to consider your appointment as canceled. Please be assured that we will make every attempt to reach you before cancelling your appointment in that situation.

Cancellations & No Shows
To maintain our commitment to exceptional care, we schedule a limited number of appointments each day. If you find it necessary to adjust or cancel your appointment, we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

A fee equal to 50% of the total appointment cost will be applied in the event of cancellations or appointment adjustments with less than 24 hours’ notice. No_Call/No-Show situations, resulting in the groomer’s arrival without the client or pet present, will incur the full cost of the appointment. These fees are essential to mitigate the financial impact of last minute changes on our business and groomers. Your understanding and cooperation in providing advance notice are greatly appreciated.

Payment
Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept Credit, Check, Apple Pay, and Cash (we do not carry change in the van). In the event of NSF/returned checks, a service fee of $35.00 will be applied.

Latch Key
We are happy to offer latch-key services for our returning clients. Pets must be left in a safe, easily accessible area, including but not limited to: kennels, back yards, bedrooms, and garages. Latch-key clients will be required to keep a credit card on file and can indicate preferred gratuity for services in their file.

Schedule & Rotations
We offer regular appointment rotations of two, three, four, and six weeks. Please note that we reserve the right to end an appointment rotation at any time or if more than two appointments are changed or cancelled in a six- month period.

Flea & Tick
In order to maintain a sanitary environment, we are not able to accept pets with fleas and we do not offer flea and tick treatment. If you suspect your pet to have fleas or ticks, action must be taken for removal prior to your appointment. If a pet is found to have fleas during the grooming, the pet will be returned and the trip fee of $55.00 + sanitation fee of $30.00 will be applied.

Aggressive / Difficult Pets
While we try to give every pet the most relaxing mobile grooming experience possible, this process can be stressful for some. In the event of an uncooperative and/or aggressive pet we will do all we can to ease them through the process, although a special handling fee of $50.00 may be added after consulting with the owner.

We must be informed prior to your appointment if your pet has ever bitten someone or has aggressive tendencies. If failure to inform us of aggressive tendencies results in injury, the owner will be held liable for any medical bills or property damage caused by their pets. Purfect Paws Mobile Pet Grooming reserves the right to refuse service in the event of a pet that cannot be handled safely.

Matted Pets
Excessive matting can be very uncomfortable for your pet and can lead to fungus and bacteria growth due to trapped moisture or urine. In order to keep your pet’s stress to a minimum, we do not offer a de-matting service if matting is excessive. After consulting with the owner, matted pets will be shaved in order to minimize discomfort.

In the event of a shave-down due to excessive matting, the owner must be aware that the procedure will dramatically alter appearance and can result negative after-effects of the procedure. This also increases the risk of accidents such as cuts or nicks if the pet does not remain still during the shave-down. Purfect Paws Mobile Pet Grooming will not be responsible for negative effects from the shave-down, including but not limited to: pre- existing conditions made visible, clipper/brush irritation, redness, altered growth of hair, or itchiness. Shaved dogs are prone to sunburn and should have sunscreen applied as needed until there has been sufficient hair growth for skin protection.

Accidents
Although we take every precaution to avoid it, please be aware that working with excitable pets and sharp objects can possibly result in injury. Every effort will be made to ensure that your pet is groomed as safely as possible, but excited dogs can be dangerous to work on. Please avoid knocking on the door of the van while grooming is in process. Any outside distractions complicate the grooming process, especially if the pet sees their owner.

Vaccinations
Pets must be up to date on their Rabies vaccine as per local and federal laws. Owners must be able to provide proof of vaccination if requested and are responsible for informing us if vaccinations are not up to date.

Photo Consent
Purfect Paws Mobile Pet Grooming may use photos or videos taken of your pet for our website, Facebook, Instagram, or any other marketing or advertising purposes. Please inform us if you would not like to provide photo consent and we will not use any photos or videos of your pet.

Severe Weather
In the event of severe weather resulting in unsafe driving conditions, Purfect Paws Mobile Pet Grooming may reschedule your appointment to the next available opening.

Service Area
Purfect Paws Mobile Pet Grooming proudly serves most of Parker County and hopes to expand our service area as we are able. We may accept certain appointments outside of our service area for an additional travel fee.
